FAQ — Using the forum

Who can read and post?
You need to be logged in to read and post. An admin can mark individual
categories as publicly readable; those can be read by guests, but posting always
requires an account.

How do I start a topic?
Open Forum, pick a category and tap New topic. You can also start one
straight from a category page.

Can I format my posts?
Yes — posts support Markdown (bold, links, lists, quotes, code). Raw HTML is
not allowed, for safety.

Can I edit or delete my posts?
Yes, your own posts. Deleting the first post of a topic removes the topic.

Something’s wrong in a post — what do I do?
Use Report on the post. It goes to the moderation queue. Moderators can pin,
lock, move or remove topics and posts.
